Bs

I use to love going into acadamey but now it is bs. No prices on fishing gear. The poles are noted up. Get new line! They are unhelpful when asked for a price. They act like it's your fault. Very useless for fishing. Pay extra or go to a good place that will help you. I use to love academy but not if you need help or want anything good

Ordered a vortex viper red dot on…

Ordered a vortex viper red dot on 9/8/22.Order was cancelled by academy on 9/9/22.Called customer service on 9/10/22 and they reordered it for me only to have my order cancelled again on9/11/22.Spoke to a supervisor on 9/12/22 and received an email stating that the vendor didn’t have the packing material to ship lithium (which is the battery)usps requires it to be wrapped in bubble wrap.This is such B/S.Mind you this item is still for sale on Academy’s website.I’m done with doing business with Academy.

This place is not good for business!!!

This place is not good, first you get the credit card…then they give you a credit limit. Let’s say your credit limit is 500.00, 7 months later your credit score went down 10 points…Academy Sports will decrease your credit limit 200 dollars…now if your score go up they don’t raise your credit limit… they only decrease. That’s 1 problem, so if you pay for your item with your credit card …it’s supposed to be free shipping. Then they will say on certain items…so they determine which items that’s excluded from shipping. Mind you Commenity Bank finances Academy Sports and I expected more but because they also finance King Size…I see now. They have different business practices.

Thoughtlessness, ONE CART for the whole store

My wife is handicapped and she needed shoes. Texarkana Academy HAS ONE CART for the whole store. That is totally ridiculous. It is obvious that the management of Academy care more for their younger shoppers than they do the older folks. We called ahead before coming over to the store and they said there was one cart available. Of course upon our arrival it was gone. Very disappointed in the service at our store here in Texarkana.

Thoughtlessness, only one cart for the whole store

During a recent visit to academy we found only one cart. My wife is handicapped and she needed shoes. Academy's philosophy is "We don't care." They made it plain that they had one cart and that they didn't care if my wife got to shop for shoes or not.

Totally sucks

I placed a order 8-20-22 today is 8-23-22 my order still hasn't shipped. Pretty sorry shipping when in there advertisement is says Fast shipping, Bull $#*!. I bet I don't order nothing else from this suck $#*! place.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IN CORPUS CHRISTI

This store is now downgraded below Walmart the checkout system sucks and to return something is the worst I have ever seen, and they have the worst customer service the cashier acted like I stole the items that I was trying to return Academy Sports + Outdoors SUCKS

I made an order on July 16th for…

I made an order on July 16th for shotgun shells and cleaning supplies. On July the 20th I received the first box of 3. This part of the order was supposed to be a box of shotgun shells. I received a pair of 3.5 children's shoes in it. I called the store listed as my local which is not close, the reason i ordered online. They gave me an 888 number. I now have to return the item, they won't refund my money or replace my item until they get these children's shoes back and process it. What kind of moron sends out children's shoes in place of ammunition? Even more importantly, who got that ammunition? Some child? Somebody in their shipping department decided to keep it? Either way, it's bad business and I now have to wait until the next time FED EX comes to my home to pick up a package to return this item. It did NOT come Fed Ex.. It came USPS. I do order regularly so Fed Ex will be here at some point, but it makes no sense that a pair of 5.00 childrens cheap shoes are holding my 40.00 worth of shot gun shells hostage.. Bad business all around. By the way, they didn't seem to be a bit concerned about who got my shotgun shells. I hope somebody in that store isn't a shooter and they trace them back to me.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. They sent me the wrong item and it was a nightmare to return it. Will never shop with them again.
